Russell and his Tony winning stage producing partner, Corey Brunish, are serving as Consulting Producers on Meteor 17 music documentaries, adapting each via their story telling arcs to be appropriate stage productions, regional and Broadway.

Russell is the author of a new children’s book entitled BROADWAY BABY, a colorful and whimsical love letter to Broadway. He teamed up with M17’s Vice Chair, Judith A. Proffer, in putting the book together.
BROADWAY BABY is available exclusively through the Playbill Store in a hardcover format. It was the literary best seller via Playbill for the holiday season, 2020. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this special edition of the book will be donated to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS https://broadwaycares.org and in the U.K., to the Theater Artists’ Fund.
Miller, his partner in Freedom Theatricals, Corey Brunish, and Spencer have all become close friends from the time they met and started working together.
Together, they are building a unique business to produce stage plays from Proffer produced M17 documentaries and documentaries from acclaimed hit shows.
The team will approach the projects with a true insider’s view of how many Tony winning hit shows came to be - with content and stories never before told.
A theater producer with over 25 years of professional experience, predominantly in the running of large and prolific commercial theaters, sports and entertainment venues, Miller knows his way around the live production and stage lane very well.
Previously as a Senior International Business Director, Russell has been responsible for operating 12 regional UK theatres and 10 West End theatres in London – the largest group in London for the world’s largest theatre owner/operator. He has overseen notable productions including the West End revival of Guys & Dolls with Ewan McGregor, Patrick Swayze and Don Johnson, which broke London box office records. He also oversaw the opening of On the Town and Cirque du Soleil’s Broadway debut hit musical, Paramour, both performed at the Lyric Theatre, Broadway’s second largest theater.
