Aaron Sixx

After graduating from UCLA Film School, Aaron grabbed his cameras and began a successful career as a professional photographer, specializing in music artists. An impressive array of his work appeared in album packaging and publicity, including images of Rod Stewart, The Who, David Bowie, the Bee Gees, Kinks, David Crosby and Graham Nash among many others.
Aaron joined United Artists Records as the European, A&R director reporting directly to the then worldwide head of creative, Meteor 17 CEO, Spencer Proffer. Aaron had regular interface with the entire artist roster in a proactive business and creative capacity. Among the renown artists Sixx worked with were Electric Light Orchestra, Bobby Womack, Ike & Tina Turner and Don McLean.
Years later, Aaron joined Clive Davis and Elliot Goldman at the newly formed Arista Records in NYC as VP International. He had tremendous success working with with Arista artists such as Barry Manilow, Patti Smith, Melissa Manchester, Eric Carmen, Bay City Rollers and The Kinks on all facets of their international careers.
Aaron went on to be the founder of Aura Records and Music in London. Aura was a successful independent music company that handled highly regarded releases from artists such as Steve Marriott (Small Faces & Humble Pie), Nico (Velvet Underground), Big Star and Alex Chilton, Trapeze, Robyn Hitchcock (Soft Boys), and Annette Peacock. Aaron also served in artist management for artists such as Tori Amos, Johnny Hates Jazz and Sisters of Mercy.
Sixx bring a wealth of visual/aural experience and contacts to Meteor 17 to expand the company's world class reputation and global vision. He provides counsel in all areas of media and information to Spencer and the M17 team.
