A spoken word version of the book via Amazon’s Audible division, followed and was released in September, 2023 to cross promote with our documentary film’s release, REINVENTING ELVIS. The highly acclaimed documentary (which received 100 on Rotten Tomatoes), directed by filmmaker John Scheinfeld and based upon Binder’s book, was released via Spencer and M17’s close nexus with media enterprise, Viacom’s Paramount Global enterprise { CBS TV, MTV, VH1, CMT, BET, PARAMOUNT PICTURES} by their streaming division, Paramount + in multiple territories around the world.
The audio book featured actor/musician Dennis Quaid reading Steve Binder’s words. All of which tied into M17’s ELVIS COMEBACK feature documentary, REINVENTING ELVIS (produced by Proffer) and Baz Luhrmann’s highly successful Warner Brothers Elvis dramatic film, featuring Tom Hanks as Colonel Parker and Academy Award nominated Austin Butler as Elvis.
