VISION & CONCEPT OF FILM

People want to be uplifted, inspired, have hope and called to action. Watch this 1:37 sizzle:

Dare To Dream is a timely and important, culturally relevant cinematic mini movie in the form of a documentary which will use music and its’ visuals to motivate change and hope - within & without from a woman’s perspective which affects society in 2025.

The United States is founded on the concept of “Dare to Dream” – from our bold move to break away from England to our social movements of equality through the youth of today, Daring to Dream has been foundational in who we are as a people. Utilizing music, poetry, spoken word and other artist mediums the project Dare to Dream showcases how those artists were central to the changes we see today.

The project will provide opportunities for audiences to get involved in their local communities to keep the needed changes going all while inspiring them to “Dare to Dream” as women have proven they do to influence society. In the same manner and spirit as Proffer’s John Coltrane documentary was narrated by Denzel Washington, our film will be narrated by a prominent African American female music star (e.g. Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Andra Day).

VISION & CONCEPT OF THE DOCUMENTARY

Spencer and his team plan to highlight and anchor this 100 minutes upon the powerful songs that have shaped much of our pop culture - songs recorded and performed by women icons that speak to the theme of our documentary. Classics which have inspired hope and change will decorate a visual tapestry with re-imagined versions, performed by top female recording artists of today. Academy Award nominated songwriter, Dianne Warren, has written many of the songs which will be featured in this documentary.

These will decorate the visual tapestry which our film will create.

Our film will also feature Young spoken Word poets who will recite from their heart in addition to sharing lyrics from select songs. They will narrate via rhyme and urban rap to entwine the past and present together in a moving tribute which showcases the culture of today.

Exclusive interviews with many of America’s recognized female voices in entertainment (music, film, journalists) will expose the reality of what it means to be a dreamer in America today.

MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION

DISTRIBUTION – we have planned and solidified a long, evergreen and important tail:

  • The initial campaign can launch with a viral sizzle reel, showcasing the ethos and spirit of our film. In addition to a one event night (a model Proffer has pioneered for the past 20 years) on a minimum of 600 theatrical box office screens in both the US and abroad, we are planning for the sizzle reel teaser to air across the country on You Tube alongside a major national media outlet online, such as CNN, The Huffington Post, MSNBC or others.

  • On air radio and podcast cross promotions from Sirius XM in the US and other digital radio outlets around the world.

  • The documentary film as well as excerpts them from (to work as interstitial promos) will then exhibit on a prominent streamer such as, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Hulu, Paramount+ Disney+, Amazon Prime, or Netflix, etc.

  • Additional exposure platforms will all be able to embrace the episodes when our initial distribution partner and M17 determine it it timely.

MARKETING & PR

The national marketing & publicity campaign will launch to coincide with the exhibition of the film. It will include social media, grassroots outreach, PR, and important and relevant influencers. Social Influencer participations from active consumers which M17 marketing will engage at the top of the most prominent and successful participants across Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube and Spotify.
